Our Credo
“Growing up in Calcutta, I was surrounded by the rich traditions of my grandparents who crafted their own skincare remedies from nature's bounty. My home was filled with these homemade, natural wonders, and they were generously shared with relatives who always came back for more. My mother, too, was a staunch advocate for natural beauty, frowning upon the chemical-laden cosmetics in the market. As a curious child, I couldn't resist sneaking into every beauty product I found around the house. But despite my fascination, I faced skin concerns that prevented me from using conventional makeup. This ignited my passion for bridging the gap between nature and beauty, leading me to create a plant-powered beauty brand. Shibel not only elevates clean formulations but also contributes to a healthier environment, inspired by the lessons and love of my grandparents."
